Waking up, the roads were still damp, so I wore all I had to protect my feet from getting wet.
After a while it became sunny and the temperature started rising, so I was able to ride in full summer kit (it was kind of cold, but anyway…)
The whole day was beautiful. Stunning ocean views, which reminded me of Izu peninsula, but the biggest difference being the color of the ocean. It really makes you think you are in an exotic country.
Lunch was the best thing ever, Kagoshima Black Pork tonkatsu, which really made me feel alive!
The ride was harder overall with never ending undulating hills, but we had to use two 30 min ferry rides which provided nice breaks.
